Safe and affordable childcare is essential to San Diego’s economic recovery and the ongoing health of our region. Recognizing this, the San Diego County Board of Supervisors authorized $25 million in CARES Act funding to establish the Childcare Provider Grant Program. Funds were distributed in partnership with The San Diego Foundation, Child Development Associates, and the YMCA of San Diego County.
